H.E. Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh is a Minister of State (UAE) and the Managing Director of Arabian Crude Company, LLC Limited.
H.E. Al Sayegh supports the government actively in its initiatives and efforts that drive the nation's economic diversification plans and the sustainable future of the UAE.
His Excellency holds a number of other positions, including: a Member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Board Member of Abu Dhabi Development Fund, Deputy Chairman of Emirates Nature - WWF and serves as the co-Chair of the UAE-UK Business Council.
He has formerly served in several key capacities such as the Founding Chairman of Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), Founding Chairman of Aldar properties, Founding Chairman of Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar), Founding Board Member of Etihad Aviation Group, Founding Board Member of Mubadala Investment Company, Deputy Chairman of First Gulf Bank, and held senior positions in Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and Abu Dhabi Investment Company (Invest AD).

H.E. Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei has held the position of the Minister of Energy since March 2013. In 2017, the Ministry expanded its portfolio to become the Ministry of Energy and Industry. It then merged with the Ministry of Infrastructure Development in July 2020 to include the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme, and the Federal Transport Authority Land & Maritime, and become The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure.
H.E. Al Mazrouei is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Etihad Water and Electricity, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Emirates General Petroleum Corporation, Member of the Board of Directors and of the Executive Committee of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company ADNOC and Mubadala Investment Company.
H.E. is also Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation, Nawah Energy Company and Barakah One Company.
H.E. Al Mazrouei has considerable experience in corporate administration in different sectors, including ship building, defense systems, oil and gas services sector and real estate development.
H.E. Suhail Al Mazrouei graduated in 1996 from the University of Tulsa in the United States of America with a bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering. He was born in Dubai on July 1st, 1973. His hobbies include poetry, literature, and history.
Naser Al Hajri is the Senior Vice President, Operations – Southeast Asia at Mubadala Energy. He is responsible for managing the company’s operated and non-operated businesses across the region. He brings with him over 22 years’ experience, gained in diverse technical and operational roles in the oil and gas industry.
Mr. Al Hajri joined Mubadala Energy in 2011 and has held various positions from
Asset Manager, Bahrain, Head of UAE Gas, where he managed the shareholder’s
interests in Arabian Crude Company, LLC , to most recently VP Operations for the Middle East and
Central Asia region.
Prior to joining Mubadala Energy, Mr. Al Hajri worked for the Abu Dhabi National Oil
Company (ADNOC) in diverse roles responsible for offshore and onshore assets and
plant integrity and reliability.
Mr. Al Hajri holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University
of Colorado, Denver, USA.
Dr. Bakheet Al Katheeri is the Executive Director of the UAE Industries unit within Mubadala’s UAE Investments platform. The platform contributes to the acceleration of the country’s economic transformation by investing in national world class champions, fostering vibrant industrial and commercial clusters, and partnering with world-class global entities.
Before joining Mubadala, Dr. Bakheet held positions at the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), leading the production and facilities engineering for five of its operating companies covering all offshore operators in Abu Dhabi.
With over 20 years of diverse experience in the energy sector, Dr. Bakheet is a member of industry Boards and committees in the UAE including, Cepsa, Oil Search, Mubadala Petroleum and Emirates Global Aluminum.
Dr. Bakheet holds a BSc degree in Petroleum Engineering and applied Mathematics from the University of Tulsa (Oklahoma, USA) and MSc in Environmental Science from UAE University. He also holds an Executive MBA from HCT, UAE and a Doctorate of Business Administration from the College of Business and Economics, UAE University.
Mansoor Al Hamed is the Chief Executive Officer of Mubadala Petroleum. Prior to his appointment in February 2021, he held the position of Chief Growth Officer where he was responsible for all new business development and Mergers & Acquisitions activities at Mubadala Petroleum.
Mr. Al Hamed has more than 15 years of diverse experience in the oil and gas industry and across various disciplines of business leadership.
Mr. Al Hamed holds a BSc degree in Business Administration from the American University in Dubai and two MSc degrees from Abu Dhabi University and National Defense College in Abu Dhabi.
Elias Kassis is President TotalEnergies E&P UAE and TotalEnergies Country Chair in the United Arab Emirates, a position held since May 2021.
Previously, Mr. Kassis was Vice President Energy Transition in the Middle East North Africa (MENA) division of TotalEnergies Exploration & Production.
Before that, he served as Vice President North Africa in the MENA division, and Managing Director of the TotalEnergies E&P affiliates in Yemen, Malaysia and Iraq. Prior to that, he was Vice President in the TotalEnergies E&P Middle East division, and Vice President Venezuela in TotalEnergies E&P Americas Division. He also fulfilled other assignments in Venezuela and Qatar.
Elias Kassis began his career at TotalEnergies in 1991 and held various positions in the Trading and Gas & Power divisions until 2002.
Mr. Kassis holds an Engineering Master’s Degree from the Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble and a Master’s Degree in Finance from ESSEC Business School.
Laurent Vivier is Senior Vice President Middle East in the Exploration & Production Division of the TotalEnergies Group, and a member of the CDEP, since January 2021.
Mr. Vivier began his career within TotalEnergies in 1996 in the Group's Trading activity. Responsible for trading activities in LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) and then in natural gas for Europe and North America, he held positions in Paris, Geneva, London and Houston.
He returned to France in 2011, he was appointed Vice President Strategic Planning for Gas & Power. Four years later, he was appointed Senior Vice President Gas of TotalEnergies. In this capacity, he accompanied TotalEnergies growth in LNG and the creation of the Gas, Renewables & Power (GRP) division.
Mr. Vivier graduated from the EDHEC School of business and holds an MSc from the London School of Economics & Political Science.
Jonathan (Jon) Newbery is President and General Manager of Occidental Oil and
Gas - UAE, an affiliate of Occidental Petroleum.
Newbery is responsible for all UAE Operations, including oversight of
the sour gas joint venture with ADNOC. He is also responsible for regional business development, Human Resources, Information Technology and Finance departments.
Newbery joined Occidental in 2004 and until recently held the position of VP International Business Development, based in Abu Dhabi. Prior to joining Occidental, Newbery worked in various technical and management positions with leading international oil companies.
Newbery holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology from the University of London and a Master’s Degree in Petroleum Geology from Imperial College, University of London.
Magalie Lemaire is Senior Vice President Business, Gas & Planning, TotalEnergies E&P UAE.
She started her career with TotalEnergies in 2005, and has held successive roles in
Engineering, Operations Support and Production Management in Paris, Gabon, Congo and
Qatar.
In 2016, she joined the Business Development team for TotalEnergies’ project in Uganda,
where she was in charge of Corporate planning, and took part in the local negotiations with JV
partners and the Government of Uganda to progress the common development of the project.
In 2019, she joined TotalEnergies Abu Al Bukhoosh (TotalEnergies ABK), based in Abu Dhabi,
as Vice President Transition.
Lemaire holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology
and a Masters in Engineering from ENSTA Paris Tech.
Stephen Kelly is President and General Manager of 1PointFive International. 1PointFive was
started by Oxy Low Carbon Ventures with the aim of becoming the leading developer of Direct
Air Capture facilities worldwide.
Stephen Kelly joined Occidental in 1995 and has held increasingly senior positions in Houston,
Qatar and Oman. Prior to his current role he was President and General Manager of Occidental
Petroleum of Qatar Ltd. from 2012 to 2016. He was also President and General Manager of
Occidental of Oman, Inc. from 2016 until recently. He was responsible for all of Oxy’s Oman
Operations, including oil and gas operations in Blocks 9, 27, 62 and 53 (Mukhaizna), and
exploration in Blocks 30, 65, 51 and 72. Occidental is the largest independent operator in the
Sultanate.
Mr. Kelly holds a Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering from University College London.
Kenneth Dillon is President, International Oil and Gas Operations – Oxy Oil and Gas, a subsidiary of Occidental Petroleum Corporation (Oxy).
Appointed in 2016, Dillion is responsible for the management of the company’s international operations, including Occidental’s key focus areas in Oman, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Colombia.
Most recently, Dillion served as Senior Vice President – Operations and Major Projects in 2014. He was named Vice President – Major Projects in 2011 and was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2012. Dillion holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Strathclyde University, Glasgow, United Kingdom.
Thomas Maurisse is Senior Vice President LNG Gas, Renewables & Power, LNG Division, TotalEnergies Paris.
He started his career in 2007 at the French Ministry of Economy, Finance & Industry. In 2011, he became Chief of Staff of the State Secretary for Consumption, Small Enterprises, Trade & Services and Deputy Chief of Staff of the Minister of Economy, Finance & Industry.
Maurisse joined TotalEnergies in 2012 in the Refining & Chemicals division where he worked successively in Germany as Head of the economic division of the Leuna refinery; then he worked in Belgium as General Manager of Supply Sales and Optimization covering activities for the North and East Europe.
In 2017, he transferred to TotalEnergies E&P Nigeria where he is Strategy & Sales Director of Exploration & Production.
